Penang Island Part 2

On September 8th 2019, Aldo, Adit, Kiszia, and I went to Penang again. We went there by KTM first, and then we took fery for 20 minutes above. After we had arrived, we took freecat bus penang, to go around there. Because, grab is much expensive but bus is free.

First, we stopped at Mydin. It is like supermaket with lot of things inside. Especially, chocolate. Many people said, if you want to buy some chocolate, it is better if you go to Mydin. The price is more cheaper than any store. And the fact is, yes. But not at all. We thought, it is almost same like any other store. The differences only 50 cen, or RM1. But, Aldo said if we better buy some chocolate later.

So, we walked around and found a famous street food. Ais Cendol. Aldo and I bought 2 ais cendol, we wait for 30 minutes because the queue so crowded. Its sweet, fresh and savory at the same time. After that, we go to bookstore near Capital Mosque. Adit looking for some books but the price there is not that cheap than a bookstore at Gurney. So, same like Mydin before, we buy nothing and continue our holiday.

Aldo said, if he want to take pictures at Iconic Penang Street Art, or called Mural Street Art. Because it is not that far from our place, we decided to not go there by bus. While looking for it, there is an interesting boutique the name is Warehouse 192. I asked them to accompany me there. And of course, it is just cute as my expectations. They have dress, blouse, skirt, pants, short, accessories, shoes and bag. We tried some clothes and bought some pieces. Me and Kiszia bought a dress, Aldo and Adit bought some shirt.

Around at 12:00 pm, finally we found the street art. I took some pictures of Aldo. But because the weather is sooo hot, making me not in the good mood to take picture. So I have none picture there. After that, we decided to go to different places. Aldo wanna go to Penang Hill, Adit go to Gurney Paragon, Kiszia and I go to Maple Palace.

But, poor us, Maple Palace is closed. But Kiszia still insists to eat Chinese Food. So we looking at internet the nearest chinese restaurant. We cannot found one, but there is a korean restaurant, called Kim’s restaurant. We walked from our last place, around 10 minutes. At there, we ate pork, jjajangmyun, kimchi, korean soup, and other side dish.

While we finished our food, Adit called me up, he said better if we back to Georgetown right now, because it is already at 7pm. We met at Havana hotel and grab from there. Around 8, we met Aldo and decided to come back home. We took grab again, fery (it is free at night i think so?) for 45 minutes, and we arrived at Penang Cetral around 9:30m. Because boys haven’t eat yet, they went to subways and eat there. While Kiszia and I looking for skincare at Guardian. I bought freeman and acne lotion, and Kiszia bought handsaplash.

After they are finished, we took bus from Penang Central to Tasek Gelugor, only RM1.80, and arrived our dormitory at 12:00am.
